When you look at life, successful people implement and non-successful people don’t implement (or they implement the wrong stuff). You can look at two people and just see the actions they’re taking, what they’re doing on a regular basis, and you’ll know whether they are successful or not, because you can see whether they are implementing and taking action or not. If you want to be successful, you have to implement the right things.
So What Is Implementation?
Let’s break this concept down so it’s an easier thing to digest and use in your life and in your business.
Really, Implementation is developing the habit of taking action. The secret there is, Implementaion always includes HABITS. Now you may ask, what is a HABIT?
We can turn to a book I was referred to by a friend called, “Habit: The 95% of Behavior Marketers Ignore”, by Neale Martin. You can find this amazing book on Amazon.com. It begins with understanding what your mental model will be. Then Martin goes on to identify how to create a habit using a formula called S + R + R = H. First it starts with a Stimulus, then you are getting a Response from the Stimulus, and then it ends with getting Rewarded from that Response. A good example would be Google. So let’s say I’m trying to find something quickly online, my Stimulus would be typing keywords or phrases into Google, and I’m literally entering the keystrokes on my keyboard, that is the Stimulus. The Response is as soon as I hit search, I immediately get feedback from Google with all the hits for my keyword terms. Some of them are very high quality which makes me feel very Rewarded and very good because all my research project work is over and now I can find what I want and move forward with my life. If I do that over and over again, subconciously, I’m training my mind to use Google for my research and it literally becomes an habit.
So let’s recap a bit about this formula:
STIMULUS – is your desire or need to do something
RESPONSE – you take action and do it (or in some cases, you don’t do it)..
REWARD – what you learn from it or the end result you get.
So here’s my final note on implementation. The fact is it comes with the end result which is Rewards. There is a Reward that comes with completing a task, doing something and learning from the action (good or bad) it allows you to move one step closer.

Unsuccessful people say it’s safe to study but risky to implement and take action. What if I take action and it fails? What if it works and I become successful, what will people now think about me?
On the flip side, successful people don’t buy into that mindset. Successful people believe it’s risky to keep studying, it’s much safer and better to take smart implementation steps. Because if you keep studying you’re going to stay where you’re at, but if you start taking smart baby steps moving forward that’s much safer because you’ll learn very quickly and get lucky a lot as you move to where you want to go.
The biggest risk when you don’t take action is that you miss out on the opportunity given to all of us right now. We are in an amazing period of time where opportunities abound everywhere for everyone to see amazing success. The days of investing tens if not hundreds of thousands of dollars to a franchise no longer exist. So too are the huge risks involved in doing mail orders or advertising in the magazines, or trying to come up with an invention, or all of these hard ways of trying to be a successful Entrepreneur.
Right now all that risk is removed and an amazing opportunity is here. The fact is everyday that goes by it is getting harder and harder because the competition keeps increasing especially for online Entrepreneurs. And so the huge risk for you and me is not taking action because the opportunity is going to keep slipping away from us until eventually the amazing opportunity we’ve been blessed with will no longer be there.
So are you willing to make a short-term sacrifice to receive the lifetime reward of living a life of Freedom and Passion? Then you need to start implementing today. You need to start developing the habit of completing the task you have in front of you. The completion of a task no matter how big or small, and the learning that’s occurring as you’re moving forward, is the safest bet you can make to capture the opportunities right before you than waiting till there is no longer anything left for you.
Thanks for reading.
